What do you appreciate about being a collaborator at Newcastle?
Private equity often feels transactional, but Newcastle is different—it’s about people. The team understands that investing in businesses means investing in relationships and that always shines through. It’s a smart, focused, and cool group: Everyone puts in the work and is open to ideas and innovative ways of doing things. I partner with Newcastle to bring clarity and cohesion to how the portfolio companies show up in the world. That means working closely with the team on narrative development, messaging, thought leadership, and communications strategy. I also advise and support as a member of both the Culture and Marketing affinity groups.
If you could instantly become an expert in anything, what would you choose and why?
Quantum physics. Bending my brain around time loops, teleportation, and multiverses would be the nerdy adventure of a lifetime. Plus, who wouldn't want to casually drop "quantum entanglement" into a dinner party convo?
What's your go-to karaoke song?
It’s a toss-up between Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” and Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5.” Yes, I’m aware this says a lot about me.
What's a hill you're willing to die on about something completely trivial?
Tom Hanks is a completely overrated actor.
