Elizabeth is a dynamic marketing leader known for building high-impact marketing programs and scaling digital businesses for global, omnichannel brands. As chief marketing officer at Kizik, she oversees the brand's global marketing strategy, spearheading efforts across every consumer touchpoint, and drives the company's e-commerce business with a vision to build the next billion-dollar footwear brand.
Elizabeth's expertise lies in unlocking what truly moves people and getting to the heart of what makes someone feel something about a brand. Before joining Kizik, she served as chief marketing officer and GM of e-commerce at Sperry, where she revitalized the brand by driving cultural relevance through bold partnerships and compelling activations. She also led marketing for Walmart's fashion division, shifting consumer perception with a full-funnel strategy and launching new private label brands to elevate style credibility.
Earlier in her career, Elizabeth held senior roles at Converse, helping to shape global brand strategy, and worked as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.
Tell us a bit about why you chose to work with Newcastle and what excites you most about your partnership?
Newcastle's extended team cares about doing right by the business and are willing to help and partner in so many ways. Getting invited to a collaborator brainstorm focused on Kizik led to commissioning work that was very meaningful for our brand direction. I feel truly supported by Newcastle.
If you could instantly become an expert in anything, which would you choose and why?
I am such a francophile and the best compliment I've gotten was that I sounded Canadian, but to speak French like a native would be the ultimate for me.
What's your most controversial food opinion?
Add chocolate to your fruit but don't add fruit to your chocolate.
