Bryan Flynn

Founder and Owner, Super7

Brian is the founder and owner of Super7, based in his beloved and foggy San Francisco. Super7 was supposed to be Brian's pet side-project, but it has become something much more than simply a hobby. Super7 began in 2001 as a magazine focused on his obsessive collecting of vintage Japanese toys. Today, Super7 has evolved into a thriving retail brand that is still an extension of Brian’s original passion. As the Super7 company manifesto says: “No one made what we wanted. So we made it ourselves.”

Brian’s other company, Hybrid Design, is a multi-disciplinary firm that specializes in brand positioning and initiatives from initial conception to retail reality. Their clients include Nike, Apple, Sony, TED, Lego, Mattel, Levi's, Converse, Super7, W Hotels, Sheraton Hotels, Upper Playground, Juxtapoz Magazine and more. Super7 is a spin-off of Hybrid, as is his other company, Hybrid-Home, which creates housewares and limited edition art prints
